The Festival :

Abhinay Fine Arts along with VCC (ISKCON) is presenting a day of classical music by artists in the Pacific Northwest paying tribute to the great composers of Indian Classical Music. It will be our privilege to have you be a part of this evening: contributing as a participant, and as an esteemed member of our audience.

We hope to create a platform of opportunity for local artists to showcase their talent as well as foster a greater appreciation for Indian Classical Music in the community.

This event will be followed by a grand music concert by the acclaimed Carnatic Vocalist Sri T M Krishna . Tickets for this concert is available online

Event Schdule

Regulations:

  • Participation will be confirmed on a first come first serve basis.
  • Each Music School will be allocated a block of time to present their items
  • To avoid confusion, we request the music teacher to handle the group registration for their respective students
  • Children should participate as groups to be decided by their respective teachers
  • Time for individual singing (not affiliated with a music school) is restricted and time will be allocated on first come first serve basis.
  • Individual participants shall render only one kriti without alapana/nerval etc.
  • Adults are strongly encouraged to form groups as well in the interest of time.
  • Adult groups should register as a group and not as individuals.
  • Time duration allocated to groups will depend on the total number of groups and time available.
  • Concert level and senior performers will be allocated longer time slots at our discretion.
  • We will provide violin and mridangam accompaniment to as many participants as possible upon request.
  • This is a non-ticketed event but we would like your support with a token donation.
  • Please fill  the attached registration form with all the information requested.
  • We will send out an email confirmation with the schedule once finalized.
  • DEADLINEfor REGISTRATION is APRIL 2nd.
  • Late entries will be considered but we cannot guarantee a time slot.
